I’ve come to believe this issue is far more complex than any press conference or news article I’ve seen about it.
I have identified a few key areas where I am proposing action to set Multnomah County up for future success by investing in democracy, transparency, and accountability.
Today I joined the majority of my colleagues to pass a new intergovernmental agreement between Multnomah County and the City of Portland regarding the Joint Office of Homeless Services.

Today was perhaps the most important vote I will take during my short time representing you as the interim Commissioner for Multnomah County District 2. I was proud to vote yes.
