Multnomah County provides low-cost family health care at seven locations. We provide care to all Multnomah County residents, including those who are low-income and uninsured.

Cost
Affordable, sliding scale fees. This means that fees for services are adjusted depending on an individual's income. No one is refused care due to inability to pay.
We accept many insurances. If you don’t have insurance, we can help you apply for coverage through the Oregon Health Plan.
We can also see if there are other medical assistance programs you might qualify for. Ask staff for details.
Languages
Many clinics have staff who speak Spanish and other languages. Interpretation is available for:

- Vietnamese
- American Sign Language (ASL)
- And over 50 other languages
Interpreters will be scheduled when the appointment is made.

Gender-Affirming Care
Our patient-directed, trauma-informed approach to care provides for a variety of gender-affirming healthcare needs, including:
- Hormone therapy, education, and management
- Referrals to gender-affirming surgeries
- Coordination with behavior healthcare providers to provide mental health letters of support based on WPATH standards of care for gender-affirming surgeries
- Gender-affirming pap smears, pelvic exams, and prostate exams
- Chest health
- STI screening
- Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) therapy

Call for questions when clinics are closed. They can tell you if you need to be seen if you’re not sure.
Emergency CareFor life-threatening emergency conditions, such as:
- Chest pain
- Difficulty breathing
- Stroke
- Bleeding that will not stop
- Head injuries
- Poisoning
Call 911 for a paramedic/ambulance, or go to the emergency room.
At the emergency room, people with serious conditions are seen first. If you’re not there for something life-threatening, it can take hours to be seen. Open all day and night, every day of the week.
