Services
The HIV Health Services Center serves people living with HIV by providing comprehensive and compassionate medical treatment, nursing care and social services.
We also provide:
- On-site primary health care
- Medical case management
- Mental health
- Clinical pharmacist
We work in teams which include a provider, nurse, medical assistant and medical case manager. This model helps us to provide you with the best comprehensive care.
Appointments
We offer both pre-scheduled and same-day appointments.
Each provider has a few same-day appointments set aside to make it easier to see your own provider for urgent issues. If they're not available, you can still see another provider.
Insurance
We accept most major insurance plans or offer services on a sliding-scale fee. No one is refused service for the inability to pay. Pay your bill online»
Becoming a Patient
Call 503-988-5020 to schedule a new patient intake appointment. A case manager will ask you some questions over the phone, assign you to a medical team, and schedule your intake. We can usually see you within 2 weeks of your first call.
Your First Visit
Arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. Bring proof of:
- Residency
- Income
- Insurance
Your first visit is an intake appointment that consists of 3 parts:
Case Management Assessment - You'll meet with a medical case manager to assess your needs and see what referrals and assistance can be provided. They will also review your options for insurance, and help you enroll if you are eligible. They can help connect you to:
- Housing
- Mental health
- Food
- Transportation
- Other important services
Medical History Review - You'll also meet with a nurse who will review your medical history and discuss any urgent health or medication issues.
Labs - At the end, you'll have your blood drawn.
You'll see your provider the following week to review your lab results and address any other health issues you may have.
