Tax Foreclosed Property
Upon acquisition by Multnomah County, tax foreclosed real property is placed under the Special Programs Group (SPG) for property administration and evaluation. SPG is responsible for inventory, management, maintenance, and disposition of all tax foreclosed property in accordance with state statutes and Multnomah County Code.
This is an oral Sheriff's sale. No sealed bids will be accepted.
You need to register on the day of the Sheriff's sale prior to the first bid. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Upon registration you will receive a bidding number that you will use for the entire auction.
Terms of sale
Cash or earnest money: Full payment of sale price due on date of sale, or a nonrefundable 20% of minimum bid due immediately on day of sale, and execution of County supplied Earnest Money Agreement for the balance of sale price. The Earnest Money Agreement will require balance due on May 15, 2013, at the County’s Tax Foreclosed Property Office by noon, located at 501 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Room 175, Portland, Oregon, 97214-3560, or the sale is null and void.
