The juvenile justice system in Multnomah County has become a national leader in developing programs and services that have contributed to a countywide reduction in recidivism and minority over-representation. Counseling and Court Services provide intake to the juvenile justice system, process cases through the Juvenile Court, and provide probation and accountability programs to youth under juvenile court jurisdiction. Accountability Services work closely with agencies and community based organizations to maximize community participation working together for juvenile justice.
