To operate an Adult Care Home, you'll need at least one year (1664 hours) of verifiable caregiving experience. A current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate counts as six months of experience.
Additional experience is required to serve people with developmental disabilities. You will need training and experience in recordkeeping, resident screening, writing care plans or Individual Service Plans, and medication management.
