Official Payments is a third-party payment service provider and will charge a convenience fee. Multnomah County does not collect or retain any portion of the fee. The links below will take you to their website.
If paying online by debit card (Visa or Mastercard) the fee will be 1% of payment, $1 minimum.
If paying online by credit card (Visa, American Express, Discover, or MasterCard) the fee will be 2.35% (no minimum).
- Payments made by electronic check will be charged a fee of 50 cents.

We are aware of problems paying by phone with our third-party payment vendor, Official Payments. At this time, we recommend paying your taxes through a different option. Our apologies for any inconvenience this might cause.
What you need to know about using Official Payments
Property account number
Look on your property tax statement for the account number (property ID) and amount due. If you are paying multiple tax accounts, enter a separate payment for each account.
Official Payments charges a convenience fee for payments made online or by phone.
Your payment transaction must be completed before 12 midnight (Pacific time) on the due date. If a valid payment is not completed by the due date, discounts cannot be allowed and interest will be charged.
