Field work will begin on Friday, June 26 for a project that will complete the repainting of Multnomah County’s historic Broadway Bridge. The bridge will be closed to all motor vehicles that weekend.
The Morrison Bridge will be closed to motor vehicle traffic on Sunday, June 14 from 7 a.m. until as late as 7 p.m. during an inspection and maintenance work on the lift span deck.
The Burnside Bridge will close to motor vehicle and river traffic on Saturday, June 6 from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. for the Portland Rose Festival’s Grand Floral Parade.
The Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon will impact traffic on several downtown bridges maintained by Multnomah County on the morning of Sunday, May 17.
The Morrison Bridge will be closed to motor vehicle traffic on Sunday, May 3 from 7 a.m. until as late as 7 p.m. during an inspection and maintenance work on the lift span deck.
The Hawthorne Bridge will be closed Sunday, April 26 from 7 a.m. until as late as 3 p.m. during annual maintenance work. The westbound bus stop above Water Ave. will close for a month during repairs.
The outside eastbound lane of the Broadway Bridge will be closed to traffic on Sunday, April 19 from 4:30 - 9:30 a.m. during the Race for the Roses and the drawbridge will not open from 4 - 9:30 a.m.
The Sellwood Bridge will be closed from 7 p.m. on Friday, April 17 until as late as 6 a.m. on Monday, April 20 to allow the contractor building the new bridge to set up a new traffic stage.
The Morrison Bridge will close to motor vehicles on Sunday, April 12 from 7 am to 7 pm during repairs to the lift span deck and traffic changes. All six lanes will be open after the closure.
The traffic speed limit on the Morrison Bridge has been reduced from 35 to 25 miles per hour. New speed limit signs were installed on March 19.
Reduced vehicle weight and speed limits are coming for traffic on the Morrison Bridge, in an effort to keep the bridge in service until the lift span deck is replaced.
Installation of the new Sellwood Bridge east arch span will impact bridge traffic at times on Thursday, March 12 from 9 am to 4 pm.
