On Saturday, February 25 there will be several bridge lifts from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. for continued work on the Morrison Paint Project.
The contractor on the Morrison Paint Project was able to cancel two upcoming bridge closures.
The Morrison Bridge will close to traffic including all motorized vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians on two weekends in February and one weekend in early March.
On Friday, February 10th starting at 10 p.m. the Morrison Bridge will close to traffic including all motorized vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians.
On Monday Jan. 30 and Tuesday, Jan. 31, sidewalks on the Sellwood Bridge will be closed for inspection work.
The Stark Street Bridge over the Sandy River will close on Wednesday, November 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a federally-required inspection.
The Morrison Bridge will close on two separate weekends in October for work on an ongoing paint project.
The Portland Marathon on Sunday, October 2 will impact traffic on several Willamette River bridges maintained by Multnomah County.
On Friday, September 16th from 9 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. the westbound left lane will close for a contractor to perform inspection work on the east side of the Hawthorne Bridge.
On Sunday, August 28th from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. the eastbound traffic lane on the south side of the Hawthorne Bridge and the center westbound lane will be closed for a filming event.
On Monday, August 8 starting at 7 a.m. the bicycle and pedestrian lanes on the east and west ends of the Morrison Bridge lift spans will be reduced to seven feet.
