Domestic and sexual violence affects all kinds of people every day. Please know that you are not at fault for any of the abuse that you may have experienced and that there are places that can help. Domestic and sexual violence can take many forms. It can include physical violence, verbal attacks, psychological manipulation, sexual abuse, financial abuse, or other forms of control by a partner or family member.

The Gateway Center

At The Gateway Center for Domestic Violence Services you can sit down one-on-one with an experienced advocate (“navigator”) who will help you develop your personal plan and connect you with other services you may need. Appointments are not necessary for first-time visitors. They encourage walk-in, drop-ins from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 4 pm.

*Please note: The Gateway Center building can be hard to find the first time. It is set back from 102nd in a building that looks like a yellow house. You may have to keep your eyes peeled to find it the first time!
