2020 Elections Updates


Submit your ballot at one of Multnomah County's drop site locations.
It's too late to vote-by-mail; use a drop site instead.

Tuesday May 19, 2020 at 8 PM is the deadline to vote in the Oregon primary election.  Visit multco.us/dropsites to find the nearest official ballot drop site.

Starting in 2020, you can vote by mail using the postage-paid envelope. 
Please disregard any dated material you may have or have shared with your networks regarding how to vote by mail.  

Closed Primary
The May 19th, 2020 election is a closed primary election. 
If you wish to vote for the Democratic Party candidates or the Republican party candidates in the May Primary you must register with one of those parties by the voter registration and party change deadline, April 28, 2020. Voters registered non-affiliated or with a minor party will receive a ballot with non-partisan offices and ballot measures.
