On Tuesday April 4, the Board of County Commissioners will recognize this year's Public Health Heroes—those people and organizations in our community whose accomplishments support and promote public health.

Public health work goes on all around us but it's often unnoticed. As the saying goes, "when public health works, it's invisible." Public Health Heroes was created as a moment for communities to pause and celebrate the efforts of those who work to make our community healthier.
