Monday, February 27 elected officials, law enforcement and other public safety officials joined business owners, residents and service providers in Old Town for a press conference and launch of LEAD®. Speakers at the press conference were: Multnomah County District Attorney Rod Underhill, Executive Director of Metropolitan Public Defender Services Lane Borg, Multnomah County Chair Deborah Kafoury, Mayor Ted Wheeler, Central City Concern Chief Medical Officer Rachel Solotaroff, Sheriff Mike Reese, Portland Police Chief Mike Marshman, and LPSCC Director Abbey Stamp.
