PORTLAND – Grant High School took a stand against bullying in an all-school assembly Wednesday.
Multnomah County Commissioner, Loretta Smith, got the idea for the assembly after seeing a rise in bullying at school and on social media. Grant also had many incidents of harassment last winter, which Smith also wanted to address.
KGW’s Laural Porter led a discussion panel that included students who were bullied before, like Grant senior Hanna Olson, who told students to not be afraid and to reach out and tell someone if you are bullied. CONTINUE
