On Sept. 12 Commissioner Loretta Smith co-sponsored a panel discussion on women of color in the Portland metro region and their experiences in the workplace. The community discussion took place at McMenamins Kennedy School in Northeast Portland and was part of “Race Talks,”  an ongoing conversation series that fosters cross-cultural dialogue.
