LPSCC Executive Committee convenes the second Monday of the month from 1:30-3pm, usually in room 315.

2) Large Executive Committee Meetings where non-executive committee attendees are welcome to attend (alternate months)

2017 Meetings (subject to change)
May 8, 2017--Due to the timing of the MacArthur Safety and Justice Challenge All Sites Visit, there will not be a May LPSCC meeting.
No August Meeting
The January 9th LPSCC meeting featured budget and legislative discussions.
The Multnomah County OJJDP Comprehensive Gang Model Implementation Plan was presented at the February meeting, which took place at Gresham City Hall.
LPSCC members viewed the documentary 13th, which explores the "intersection of race, justice and mass incarceration in the United States."
After a debrief of the documentary 13th, the meeting focused on an introduction to risk assessment.
The Reentry Strategic Plan was presented to LPSCC in June. There was also time for information sharing around current collaborative work.
The July agenda included time for announcements and updates as well as a discussion about the future of the LPSCC Executive Committee meeting structure.
The September meeting had two topics: DCJ's Juvenile Detention Policy & Use and the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training Overview.
Continuing from the September meeting, Deena Corso, DCJ Juvenile Services Division, presented and discussed drivers for detention utilization. There was discussion about the drivers for detention utilization. There was a presentation from Measures for Justice.
This meeting covered a range of topics including a jail usage update, Community Corrections Plan approval, a Re-entry Employment Services and Housing Assistance presentation.
The December meeting included updates on the Multnomah County Comprehensive Gang Assessment Implementation and on the Justice Reinvestment supplemental work. There was a short presentation about FUSE.
