Senior Public Safety Research Analyst

As the Senior Research Analyst for LPSCC, Amanda's role is to collaborate with LPSCC partners to develop systems of measurement and monitoring for the effectiveness of the criminal justice system.

Prior to joining LPSCC, Amanda worked for the Multnomah County Sheriff’s office and also spent five years as a performance auditor in multiple jurisdictions. As an auditor, she evaluated government programs ranging from professional services contracting to facilities management to Oregon’s Community Colleges system. To do so, Amanda used a variety of research methods including both quantitative and qualitative measurement to assess whether these government programs were operating efficiently and effectively while meeting the goals of the program.

Amanda has a BA from Lewis & Clark College with a major in Philosophy and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Portland State University.

In her spare time, Amanda enjoys volunteering in her community. Amanda serves on the Board of Alumni for Portland State University and is also the Board President for the Montavilla Food Cooperative. When not volunteering, Amanda enjoys spending time at home with her family and pets.
