The LPSCC Executive Committee will meet on Tuesday, June 7th, from 7:30 to 9:00am in room 315 of the Multnomah Building (501 SE Hawthorne Blvd.).

Members of the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) will join LPSCC at the meeting. CJCC, in partnership with the National Association of Counties and the Pretrial Justice Institute, is designed for the staff and leadership of local criminal justice coordinating councils to exchange ideas and promising practices for handling systemic issues in criminal justice. Multnomah County is one of 12 jurisdictions nation-wide to be selected as founding members of the National CJCC Network. Judy Shiprack, co-chair of LPSCC, and Peter Ozanne, Executive Director of LPSCC, represent Multnomah County on the CJCC Network. CJCC is holding their first national meeting in Portland June 6-8th, and will be observing the LPSCC Executive Committee meeting as part of their program.
Commissioner Shiprack reminds Executive Committee members to bring their budgets and concerns about their impact on public safety.
Judge Julie Frantz and Joanne Fuller will present Mental Health and Public Safety Subcommittee findings and recommendations.
LPSCC staff will present on public safety data and analysis, including the March/April Public Safety Brief .
