The LPSCC Executive Committee will meet Tuesday, May 7th, from 7:30-9:00 AM in room 315 of the Multnomah Building (501 SE Hawthorne).
Most of the May 7th meeting will be devoted to discussions of (1) the future directions and the scope of work of LPSCC's Youth & Gang Violence Steering Committee and (2) developments at the state legislature regarding justice reinvestment legislation that resulted from the work of the Governor's Commission on Public Safety and the implications of that legislation for Multnomah County. Depending on the discussions, the Executive Committee may choose to take action regarding either of these topics.
The meeting materials provide background information and perspective for the foregoing discussions.
A reminder that in accordance with Multnomah County's Green Meeting guidelines, and per the recommendations of the LPSCC Communications Subcommittee, LPSCC is seeking to reduce the amount of waste it generates while continuing to make its meetings accessible and convenient for all attendees and does not distribute paper copies of materials to attendees. If you require individual hard copies of any materials, LPSCC staff will be happy to provide them - just let us know in advance. Thank you for your patience and support as we strive to be as efficient as possible.
