For the first time, Multnomah County residents and clients submitted nominations for the county’s annual employee awards in which 250 employees were recognized in categories including public service, diversity and cultural competency and innovation.
The Multnomah County Employee Awards recognize achievements in other areas including outstanding team achievement, sustainability and superior public service to internal and external customers.
Nominations will be reviewed by an awards selection committee and winners will be announced in late April.
Recipients will be recognized at the 4th annual Public Service Recognition Week Awards Celebration from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8 in the Multnomah Building board room, 501 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd. A cake reception will follow.
