Chair Kafoury to Deliver 2018 State of the County Address

On Friday, March 16 Multnomah County Chair Deborah Kafoury will deliver the 2018 State of the County address, an assessment of what the County has accomplished and where it will focus its efforts in the coming year.

In Kafoury’s fourth State of the County speech she’ll highlight the County’s efforts in supporting children, housing and essential capital projects.

A significant part of the program also will feature a moderated Q & A with Kevin Modica, a former Portland Police Bureau assistant chief, with input from the Multnomah Youth Commission and Reynolds High students.

The March 16 event is produced by the City Club of Portland and will take place at Reynolds High School at 1698 Southwest Cherry Park Road in Troutdale. This is the first time the annual address will be delivered in East Multnomah County.

Doors open at 7:30 a.m. and the program will run from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tickets are available from City Club.
