Westbound lanes of the Hawthorne Bridge reopened at about 6 pm Sunday after clean up of a water main break on the west side of the bridge near SW First and SW Madison. Eastbound access to the bridge is open from the northbound SW Naito Parkway onramp only. Portland Water Bureau crews are onsite making repairs and cleaning up. They hope to have eastbound access to the bridge open from SW Madison St. before the Monday morning commute.
