Why did you join the MYC?
I wanted to really empower and motivate youth that look like me. Regularly youth who are immigrants or refugees, and men of color, aren't necessarily at the forefront of change in a society that doesn't work for them. I joined the MYC to combat that dangerous epidemic and really be at that forefront, and I believe through my continued work on the MYC I am doing so.
What is one goal you have for the next year on the MYC?
I have a multitude of goals that I will be intent on accomplishing though I am most looking forward to attracting more people that look like me to enter the group. I also hope to really build relationships between the MYC and various facilitators, who will help us achieve considerable change in the community.
