Why did you join the MYC?: I applied to be a part of the MYC after a peer had told me about all of the incredible achievements the MYC had made through the 3 youth led committees and I was amazed to see how much power and impact a group of youth could have in our community on a political level. Throughout my prior years of education, I believe my leadership skills in class have been strong, so I believed through joining the MYC I would be able to learn how to better and effectively use these skills to make positive change within my community.
What is one goal you have for the next year on the MYC?: One goal I have for this coming MYC year, is to take action with my committee, in moving forward with our Policy Recommendations to make definite change in our priority areas of issues regarding transit.
