Why did you join the MYC?: I joined the MYC, because I wanted to help get the youth’s voice heard. As a kid, a person of color, but also as a female, because if the youth of our country think that they’ll fail or just negative thoughts in general, we internalize it and I want to lift these kids up to succeed. Also I want to represent my neighborhood, North Portland.
What is one goal you have for the next year on the MYC?: My goal is to have fun, meet new people but still keep it 100.
