Why did you join the MYC?
I joined the MYC because I am passionate about uplifting youth voice. The consistent overlooking of youth in decision making and conversations affecting them drives me to continue my work with the MYC.
What are your passions/hobbies?
I am quite passionate about abundant transit access, specifically for youth and seniors/ people with disabilities, as transit access can make the difference in many lives. I also enjoy wrestling, judo, reading, painting, and drinking tea.
Name one youth you admire and why?
I have eternal admiration for my trans friends and family. The struggles that they combat every day are completely foreign to the vast majority of society and they push through them.
What is an issue/movement that is important to you?
Transit justice is an issue that both impacts me personally and that I think has more importance than people place on it. Additionally, the climate crisis is SO important.
