OCI’s new online volunteer application and accounts system has launched. Use the application to sign up to volunteer with multiple committees and boards which are composed of members of the public. These groups meet with county officials to promote the importance of citizen input for county decision making. Additionally, discover other county volunteer opportunities like assisting with pet adoptions at Animal Services, promoting community literacy through your neighborhood library, or serving as a Rape Victim Advocate in the District Attorney’s Office

Last year alone volunteers contributed over $3.2 million of time and service to the county. The diverse range of skills and talents that county citizens have can all be matched with the wide variety of volunteer opportunities that Multnomah County offers. Let us help you connect by registering as a county volunteer!
