The public is invited to attend the first meeting of a community advisory committee for the Cornelius Pass Road Safety Improvements Project on Wednesday, November 13 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Skyline Elementary School gym at 11536 NW Skyline Boulevard, just south of Cornelius Pass Road. The agenda includes time at 7 p.m. for public comment.
The committee will review and provide input on safety improvements being considered for Multnomah County’s section of Cornelius Pass Road. The committee includes 15 volunteers including residents, business owners, trucking interests, commuters, and State Senator Betsy Johnson.
The agenda for the committee’s first meeting includes:
- Consideration of the committee’s charter and operating rules
- Presentation on the project’s background and recent developments
- Committee discussion on the project’s needs and purpose
