View entire RFP Chiller Maintenance and Repair Services

The Multnomah County Department of County Assets, Division of Facilities and Property Management (FPM) is seeking to purchase chiller maintenance and repair services for chillers as designated by the County. The chillers provide cooling for essential County facilities. Services are intended to assist FPM staff in maintaining the aforementioned assets in County facilities.  

Sustainability Questions Used (additional sustainability reference on pages 7 & 9):

1. Please demonstrate how your firm will provide the goods and services identified in the scope of
services in a sustainable manner. What measures will you take to minimize impacts to the
environment in the delivery of your goods and services? This may include but is not limited to the
following: 

a. Energy efficiency standards, certifications, or other information that would apply to the
equipment this is used to complete the work
b. Transportation and fuel efficiency
c. Third party certified materials and supplies
d. Product disposal
e. Methods for selecting safer and less toxic products beyond Safety Data Sheets
f. Maintenance Plan for chillers

2. Sustainability Innovations – Going above and beyond industry best practices, what sustainability
innovations does your firm have to offer in the delivery of goods and services? How do these

3. Please demonstrate your firm’s sustainable business practices, which could include, but are not
limited to policies covering recycling measures; energy and water conservation; and green cleaning.

4. Describe your firm’s approach to minimizing toxic substances in your service. What means and
methods will you use? Provide specific examples, details of efforts, practices, and/or processes.
