View the full RFPQ School-Based Chess Instruction

The Multnomah County Department of County Human Services (DCHS), SUN (Schools Uniting Neighborhoods) Service System was seeking Proposers from whom it may purchase School-based Chess Instruction to be delivered at SUN Community Schools. School-based Chess Instruction services are intended to teach the game of chess to a diverse group of SUN Community School students aged 7 to 18 years old.

Please describe your agency’s, business’ or organization’s current sustainability policies and practices in the areas of: providing support to or on behalf of underserved populations; purchasing sustainable and/or recycled/post consumer recycled products and supplies; in-office energy and/or water conservation equipment and/or methods; in-office waste reduction and recycling practices; and/or sustainable transportation practices.

Evaluation Criteria - The Proposer:
Describes current sustainability polices and/or practices in the areas of:
• Providing support to or on behalf of underserved populations;
• purchasing sustainable and/or recycled/post consumer recycled products and supplies;
• in-office energy and/or water conservation equipment and/or methods;
• in-office waste reduction and recycling practices;
• sustainable transportation practices; and
• other sustainable innovations on an individual level that can be employed in the classroom or used to act as an example of stewardship as it relates to responsible daily environmental practices.
