October is Archives month in Multnomah County!

American Archives Month is just around the corner, and the Multnomah County Records Management and Archives team is gearing up for this annual celebration by offering tours of the County's historic collections. The tours will be open to both county employees and members of the public.

Come check out the newly designed and renovated archives office at the John B. Yeon Facility, 1620 SE 190th Ave. in Portland. The space boasts six pieces from the Regional Arts and Culture Council, as well as a research area engineered to offer a more modern and accessible experience for those who come to peruse and use the wealth of information held within the archival collections.

Tours will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 18 and Thursday, Oct. 26 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and will last approximately one hour. Please RSVP to Terry Baxter at terry.d.baxter@multco.us and let him know which date and time you will be touring.
