SUN Services and Initiatives
SUN Community Schools are full-service neighborhood hubs where the school and community come together to make sure kids and families have what they need to be successful in school and life.
Child Development Services provides services for families of children (birth through age 5) to promote positive parenting, health child development and school readiness.
Social & Support Services for Educational Success provides services for youth 6-17 yrs. of age and their families so that youth remain in or return to school.
Assisting homeless and low-income households to leave poverty and become self sufficient. Includes: energy assistance, rent assistance, housing, housing, skill-building, early childhood programs.
This SUN Service System program provides community services specifically for sexual minority youth and their families so that youth remain in or return to school.
Alcohol and drug screening, assessment, referral and limited treatment for families participating the SUN Service System and families with children ages 12-17.
Linkage supports school readiness and success by connecting Multnomah County's SUN Community Schools model to its early childhood system of support
