“Sam Way is a local high school student who also volunteers at the Hillsdale Library as an e-reader specialist. He assists patrons with accessing digital content, patiently working one-on -one with people experiencing technological challenges.

His calm and reassuring manner is an asset in helping people learn the new skills needed to access e-books and stream media through the library. Many of the patrons Sam helps are older adults, and it is inspiring to see the inter-generational communication, learning and respect that occurs. We are very proud of the work Sam does and we are lucky to have such a dedicated young man as a volunteer.”
