Anne Pearson receives Public Service Award at the Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony 2016

Anne is a volunteer with the Multnomah County Library and winner of a 2016 Volunteer Recognition Award.

"Anne is a long-time volunteer at the Hollywood Library, and has contributed almost  600 hours since 2009. She is a joy to work with and is always willing to jump into any task we have. Anne is a quick study, learning new tasks with great ease. She often offers to come in beyond her scheduled hours to help out when she notices we are short of volunteers, or swimming in crates of holds--a regular occurrence. If her appointed task is finished early, guaranteed she will ask if there is anything else she can do to help. We are so grateful for Anne's kind and calm presence at Hollywood. She is a friend to all, and we honestly do not know what we would do without her."
