Addiction & Recovery Services
We provide a wide range of services, from prevention to recovery.
- Behavioral Health Call Center
- Mobile behavioral health crisis services
- Treatment and recovery support services
- Clinician education to reduce prescriptions for medications that contain opioids
- Syringe exchange and harm reduction services
- Naloxone distribution and training for community-based organizations
- Behavioral Health Resource Center day use facility
- Coordinated care for people leaving correctional settings
Emergency Declaration
On February 1, 2024, Multnomah County Chair Vega Pederson, Oregon Governor Kotek, and Portland Mayor Wheeler declared a 90-day emergency to direct coordinated efforts to address fentanyl use in Portland’s central city.
County activities during this emergency will include activities in our 4 focus areas, and extend throughout the county.
