In the ER, I too often see people who are experiencing mental health crises and have fallen through the cracks and ended up in the most expensive and least effective place to treat their underlying illness.  It often seems like we have a fragmented system of mental health care.  We can and must do better.

That’s why I’m inviting you to join me on Monday, December 11, for a Community Listening Session on Mental Health.  Come and share your experiences and your vision to help shape our work to improve mental health care in Multnomah County.

The event will take place on Monday, December 11th, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Central Library’s U.S. Bank Room in downtown Portland. Click here to RSVP for this event. For questions, see the flyer below and/or email the Office of Commissioner Meieran at: district1@multco.us
