Community Supervision Orientation for offender friends and family

May 13, 2011

Start on the road to success: Join us for a family and friends orientation

The Multnomah County Department of Community Justice sponsors orientations for family and friends of inmates who will be released within six months to post-prison supervision in Multnomah County.

The orientations are designed to help friends and family members understand the goals and requirements of post-prison supervision so that their loved ones will have a better chance of succeeding after they leave prison. The orientations will cover conditions for release and supervision, successful transition and how friends and family can help, and available resources for someone recently released from prison.

We encourage you to share this information with your colleagues and friends. The ticket for successful offender reintegration is by building positive and supportive community connections. Please join us in building bridges and linkages.
