On Wednesday, June 13, 2012, Chair Cogen, along with Commissioners Kafoury, Smith and Shiprack took time to honor excellence in Multnomah County employees – including three representatives of the Department of Community Justice.
Kathleen Treb, Deputy Director, was recognized for her contributions to the County Grant Writing Team. The team was composed of four grant writing experts from across the county. Kathleen and her team provided training sessions that received rave reviews and produced a comprehensive Grant Writing Manual for Multco Learns which includes best practices and an extensive resource list.
Two additional DCJ employees, Tami Cox (JSD) and Robert Stoll (Director’s Office), we surprised to receive the Chair’s Excellence Award for their contributions to the Employee Award Selection Committee whose efforts made the ceremony itself possible.
