Parole/Probation Officer, Wendy Jackson, North Office, has been invited to perform for the Oregon Senate on February 10th, between 10 and 11am. Senator Jackie Dingfelder first approached Jackson about the idea after she sang at the 26th Annual Martin Luther King event at the Oregon Convention Center. “It is indeed an honor to be asked to sing for this wonderful occasion,” shared Jackson, “I am going to sing my best.”
Jackson will be singing a song entitled, “Stand” as recorded by gospel recording artist, Donnie McClurkin. She has performed at many events for the Department of Community Justice (DCJ). Most recently, she sang during an awards ceremony for the African American Program.
