Building connections for a more climate resilient community

Enjoy fun hands-on activities for the whole family, and pick up free giveaways while supplies last. Visit exhibitor tables and learn about preparing for extreme heat, emergency preparedness, saving energy and money on your utility bills, caring for trees and plants, making non-toxic cleaners, gardening, transportation options, and much more!
You'll leave the East County Learn Share Do Fair feeling hopeful, more connected in our community, and have a deeper understanding of how we can become a healthier and more resilient to climate change.

Free Repair Cafe
Get your broken items repaired for free by volunteer fixers in our community. The City and Coalition of Gresham Neighborhood Associations, with Gresham Free Swaps, organize Gresham Repair Cafes to bring people with repair skills together to help neighbors fix their broken items.

Free Clothing Swap
Gresham Free Swaps will be on site to organize the clothing swap. It's not required to bring anything to take something home with you, though you can bring clean clothing that you'd like to donate to the swap. Children's clothing will be included, too.
Free Kid-Friendly Activities
In addition to interactive displays from exhibitors, several kid-friend activities will be offered at the event, including:
- Face painting
- Enjoy a smoothie made by bike pedal power
- Bike helmet giveaway, while supplies last
- Make your own green cleaners
- Creative reuse art projects
- Coloring, stamping, and stickers
- Check out items being repaired on site by volunteer fixers to learn about reuse, reduce, and repair
Free household sharps, prescription medication, CFL light bulbs, and battery collection
Metro will be providing free collection for your medical sharps and epi-pens, prescription medications, and household batteries for free. Check out the items that are accepted at the links below, provided in English and in Spanish.
