Lead poisoning is preventable! We’re ending National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week (October 22-28) with a free event to help you learn ways to detect and prevent lead exposure at home.
- Bring items from home for lead testing
- Take home a free lead dust testing kit
- Get information about grants to help reduce lead paint in older homes
Items to bring for testing:
- Garden or yard soil in a small zip lock bag
- Household items like toys, dishes, and antiques
