Jay Clemens is a volunteer with the Regional Arts & Culture Council and winner of a 2015 Volunteer Recognition Award.

“Jay Clemens is wrapping up his sixth and final year on the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) Board of Directors. As a passionate and articulate arts advocate, he has testified at multiple budget hearings and helped develop communication strategies that are raising RACC’s profile in the community.

He has donated not only his own time but that of his firm, Turtledove Clemens, in the form of pro-bono advertising and marketing materials for RACC as well as our workplace giving program Work for Art and several other local nonprofit organizations.

He has been one of our most engaged board members over the years, taking time to learn about all the various aspects of our work (especially grants), asking a lot of great questions, and challenging the status quo.”
