Multnomah County buildings and facilities will be closed on Thursday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Closures include all Multnomah County Library branches and Multnomah County health and dental clinics.
Multnomah County Animal Services will be closed on Thursday, July 4, though staff will be on-site to accept stray animals and assist in returning impounded animals to owners between noon and 4 p.m.
Besides impound and redemption services, Animal Services will not provide other services such as adoptions or licensing on July 4.
Normal business hours will resume Countywide on Friday, July 5.
