Multnomah County Sheriff's Office releases 2020- 2022 Strategic Plan

January 8, 2021

Following 2020, a year that required us to look at our organization in a way we have not before, Multnomah County Sheriff Mike Reese, with the assistance of Chief Deputies and Strategic Services, finalized the agency’s Strategic Plan.

As an organization, we need to identify and actively work to address and remove barriers for those who have been historically marginalized in our community. It also means looking within, examining current policies and procedures to make sure they reinforce equity now and into the future.

The purpose of this two-year strategic plan is to identify the priorities for the agency, provide measurable goals, and create a road map for achieving these goals. As an agency, we will work together to uphold the values of the organization and strive to achieve these goals. You can read the plan here.
