The Medical Examiner's Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a man found dead June 27 in the wildlife refuge area in Southeast Portland known as Beggars Tick
. The Medical Examiner estimated the death occurred in late April 2017.
The man was Caucasian, between the ages of 50 and 60 and 5-foot 4-inches tall. He had a white stubble beard and was missing several teeth. He was found wearing prAna pants, a black studded belt and size 12 Nike shoes with a "NYC" logo on the heel. He wore distinctive jewelry:
- A ring with Harley Davidson logo and tribal design
- A ring of gray band with yellow pattern
- A bracelet of gray and black metal links
