Two Juvenile Services staff test positive for COVID-19, no youth exposed

Multnomah County is closely following public health guidance to ensure the safety of everyone in detention facilities. 

The County has learned that two employees who work in the Juvenile Services Division have tested positive for COVID-19. Public Health has indicated there is no exposure to youth in detention. The Division has been monitoring the cases closely with Public Health, which notified any employee who may have been in close contact with either employee and advise them of necessary next steps.

Juvenile Services Division employees follow all established Multnomah County recommendations including wearing face coverings, maintaining social distancing and frequent handwashing. Multnomah County Health Department is also leading the public health response. See more at /covid19.
