The Multnomah County Local Public Safety Coordinating Council (LPSCC) was established by Senate Bill 1145 (1995) to coordinate local criminal justice policy among affected criminal justice entities.
LPSCC is currently accepting applications for two community representatives and two representatives of community-based nonprofit organizations providing services for crime victims to sit on the Council. This is a two-year commitment. The Executive Committee meets monthly on the second Monday from 1:30-3:30pm.
Community Representative will:
- Reside in Multnomah County
- Have background and knowledge of the criminal justice system
- Have an understanding of criminal justice policy
- Attend monthly LPSCC meetings
- May also serve on LPSCC Subcommittees
Victim Services Representative will:
- Be a representative of a community-based nonprofit providing services to victims of crime
- Have background and knowledge of the criminal justice system
- Have an understanding of criminal justice policy
- Attend monthly LPSCC meetings
- May also serve on LPSCC Subcommittees

Process
If you are interested, please apply by March 31, 2018. Applications will be reviewed in the subsequent weeks and individuals will be informed no later than April 30. The representative’s two-year-term begins on July 1 of this year.
