Update 4:50 p.m., Dec. 17: N.W. Reeder Road has been reopened.
Multnomah County, Ore. (Dec. 17, 2025) — TRAFFIC ALERT: Multnomah County Transportation Division has closed part of N.W. Reeder Road on Sauvie Island after a tree fell, bringing down a power line that is now lying across the road.
The closure applies to parts of the 22700 and 22600 blocks of N.W. Reeder Road, including “Raccoon Point.”
The road will reopen once Portland General Electric removes the downed line. At this point, we are unable to provide a timeline for when PGE will complete that work, allowing us to safely reopen the road.
Multnomah County maintains 269 miles of roads. For information, visit: https://www.multco.us/roads.
