State ME rules out heat as cause of death, no deaths now linked to Multnomah County heat wave

 The Oregon Medical Examiner today determined that the one death in Multnomah County under investigation is not related to the heat. 

Multnomah County reported one suspected hyperthermia death of a person in Portland on Aug. 12. This case has been excluded after further examination by the State Medical Examiner.

The Multnomah County Medical Examiner’s program has no additional heat-related cases at this time.
