Overnight lane closures start next week on Hawthorne Bridge

Starting Monday, July 11 to Friday, July 15 there will be overnight intermittent lane closures on the Hawthorne Bridge for a contractor to collect samples of the bridge deck. Drivers should expect delays between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. There will be no other impacts to bridge operations or bridge users during this work. Bus stops and sidewalks will remain open. Multnomah County maintains the Hawthorne Bridge as well as five other Willamette River bridges. For information visit: /bridges
